Sergio Ramos Garcia was born on March 30, 1986, in Camas, Savilla, Spain. He was the son of Jose Maria Ramos and Paqui Ramos. Sergio Ramos has two siblings named Rene and Miriam.
Ramos is a big fan of bullfighting which was very popular in his hometown. He even made good friends with a matador named Alejandro Talavante. He often celebrated the champion title with El Real by playing a matador robe. Ramos is also a horse lover. He owned a farm in Andalusia and was dedicated specifically to horse development in the area.
Little Ramos had aspired to become a matador. He kept watching bull games every day and had not been interested in practicing football. Because the sport was considered dangerous, Ramos was persuaded by his parents to switch his interests. After his brother, Rene, came and advised Ramos, he was eventually willing to practice soccer.
Knowing this, his parents felt very happy. Ramos began to be addicted to playing football to join FC Camas. There, Ramos found his talent. His beautiful game impressed many people and earned him several ‘Man of the Match’ awards until his presence was covered by the media.
When he was 14 years old, Ramos joined the Sevilla academy. After studying with the Sevilla youth team, Ramos finally joined the main squad in 2004.
This is where his brilliant career began.
The 2004/05 season, Ramos played 41 matches and brought Sevilla to sixth place. Moreover, he also helped Sevilla to compete in the European League competition. In 2004, he even made a big impact on the Spanish Under-21 national team and made it to the matador team’s main squad in the following year.

Ramos’ moving to Madrid could not be separated from the role of his father. His father helped Ramos to negotiate with the Galacticos camp until eventually, he got a quite expensive contract for a teenager who had just debuted.
His first goal for Real Madrid was scored in the European Champions League. Despite losing, his appearance at that time received a lot of praises.
His first four seasons with Real Madrid did not go smoothly. Ramos was considered playing worse than expected. He even played a lot in the defensive midfield position compared to the defender. After that, Ramos tried to play as a right-back. Apparently, the position was considered to be more suitable for his playing style. He scored many goals and often created opportunities for his team.
When another defender struggled to score, Ramos came as a defender who diligently scored. His performance got a lot of praises because Ramos successfully packed 20 goals in his first four seasons.
Even so, the overly aggressive game of Ramos also received a lot of criticism. He often did hard tackles until he got a red card.
In the 2008/09 season, Ramos went through difficult times with el Real. Even so, he remained in the list of “UEFA Team of the Year” and “FIFA FIFPro World XI”.
In the 2009/10 season, Sergio Ramos successfully scored four goals in 33 appearances. He also successfully recorded his 200th match with El Real in February 2010.

Because he was considered playing nicely, Ramos officially extended the contract until 2017. After the extension of the contract, Ramos continued to play brilliantly. He often became the key to the team’s victory and successfully donated several prestigious titles for Real Madrid.
Besides playing nicely on the field, Ramos also officially married a beautiful woman named Pillar Rubio. The woman was a TV presenter and a famous model from Spain. After marrying Rubio, both were blessed with two children named Sergio and Marco.
It should be noted that before marrying Pilar Rubio, Ramos had his love story with several women. Among them were Elisabeth Reyes, Carolina Martinez, Amaia Salamanca, and Lara Alvarez.
Undergoing an extraordinary season with Real Madrid, Ramos successfully donated four European Champions League titles and several Club World Cup trophies. He had also presented La Liga and Copa Del Rey titles.
