In 2003, Smith, who defended Leeds United, accidentally attacked his own supporters when his team competed against Manchester United in the League Cup. The incident began when a supporter threw a bottle at a Manchester United player named Chris Eagles. Smith, who saw the incident, was annoyed and threw back the bottle to the same supporters. Unfortunately, the pitch missed and it hit another Leeds United supporter instead. Alan Smith was arrested by the police for the action. The victim had also been rushed to the hospital to get treatments.
4. Eric Cantona
The match against Crystal Palace gave Cantona a special memory. An incident began when Cantona got a red card for kicking Crystal Palace player named Richard Shaw. When Cantona was walking out of the field, a Crystal Palace supporter named Matthew Simmons said some harsh words against him. He insulted the French man with inappropriate words. 7. Esteban Alvarado
In 2011, there was a scene of a goalkeeper kicking a supporter who tried to enter the field. Esteban Alvarado kicked a supporter for trying to attack him from behind when the match had lasted 38 minutes at the Amsterdam Arena. The referee gave the goalkeeper a red card. But after a while, the penalty for this Costa Rica goalkeeper was taken back.
