Sergio Leonel “Kun” Aguero, born on June 2, 1988, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Aguero is the second children of seven siblings born to Leonel and Adriana. Since in the womb, Aguero has felt the misery experienced by his family.

When his mother was pregnant, her family only lived in a very small plot house. They were even forced to go after their living place got flooded. His suffering continued after there was no hospital that wanted to help her birth process. The hospital considered if the family would not be able to pay the bill because at that time his father only worked as a taxi driver.

After struggling, finally, there was a hospital located in La Matanza, Buenos Aires, which was willing to help with the birth process. Right on June 2, 1988, at 3:23 p.m., a baby weighing about 9.7 pounds inhaled his first air in the world.

The given name of “Kun” to Aguero began when he moved to Florencio Varela. At the age of just 2 years, Aguero was very fond of the Japanese cartoon series called ‘Wanpaku Amukashi Kum Kum’. Because he often watched the series, Aguero often uttered the word “Kum Kum”. The words he often said then became an inspiration for his nickname.

Meanwhile, he started his soccer game in 1991. He started playing with his neighbor in an empty land. From there, his talent began to show. Under the supervision of his father, Aguero’s talent was then channeled to several local clubs in Buenos Aires.

Until 1997, he joined the Independiente academy. His developed game took him to the first team in 2003.

At the age of 15 years, he became the youngest player to make his debut in the first team.

In the 2005/06 season, his game skill was getting better and he was also able to score 18 goals from 36 matches. Thanks to his glory, Aguero was demanded by several European clubs. One of them was Atletico Madrid. Until right in May 2006, this Argentine striker officially wore the uniform from the city of Madrid.

The 2008/09 season, Aguero became the star of La Liga. He successfully scored 19 goals and became the third highest scorer. The 2008/09 season became another successful season for Aguero. He was able to bring Atletico to the final of the European League and Copa Del Rey final.

In 2010, he also successfully brought Atletico to overthrow the resistance of Inter Milan in the European Super Cup party. Because of his extraordinary contribution, Atletico then announced if they officially extended his contract for the next four years.

Even, he was given the mandate to become the team’s vice-captain.

In the 2010/11 season, Sergio Aguero successfully struck 20 goals and continued to establish himself as a deadly striker at Atletico.

Despite having good memories and very flashy performances, Aguero decided to leave Madrid. This decision also ignited the anger of Atletico fans. Right in July 2011, this attacker who also became one of the deadliest attackers announced that he had signed a contract with a Premier League club, Manchester City.

Going to the city of Manchester, Aguero left a number of trophies for Atletico such as the Intertoto Cup, European League Cup, and European Super Cup.

Aguero debuted with Manchester Blue in the match against Swansea City. Despite having suffered from an injury in his first season, Aguero did not take long to prove his quality as a goal striker. He successfully donated the Premier League title to City and scored incessantly.

Had been once demanded by the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, Aguero remained loyal to City and continued to contribute many trophies. He also became an important player in the British team for maintaining the consistency to appear in the European Champions League.

Until now, Gianinna Maradona’s boyfriend has donated three Premier League titles, four League Cup titles, and two English super cups for The Citizen.
