Andres Iniesta Lujan, born on May 11, 1984, in Fuentealbilla, an ancient village in Spain. He was born to Jose Antonia and Maria Lujan. Iniesta was born to an established family. He lives with all his needs fulfilled.
As it is known, his father is a reliable businessman. Previously, his father did live in various types of uncertainty. He was once a construction worker and even a waiter in a restaurant. But in the end, he became successful as a wine businessman.
His mother is an ordinary person yet an extraordinary figure for Iniesta. During his childhood, she always accompanied his son while he was practicing or wherever he went.
Iniesta has one sister named Maribel Iniesta. His sister was working as a businessman who continued their father’s business.
Seeing his family’s extraordinary background, it is only natural that Iniesta has no difficulties during his childhood.
As a kid from Spain, he grew to become a person who loves football. Since the age of 10, Iniesta had joined the local academy, Albacete. At the academy, Iniesta became the most superior player among others. Eventually, after two years studying at the first academy, Iniesta’s performance impressed many parties. Famous Spanish clubs were interested in recruiting him.
However, it was noted that little Iniesta was a kid who was a fan of Real Madrid. This fact was concluded due to his hatred towards the Catalan team which had slaughtered his childhood club, Albacete Balompie. On April 18, 1992, Andres Iniesta watched his favorite team slaughtered 1-7 by the Blaugrana. At that time he was eight years old.
Because of that, Iniesta decided to become an el Real’s fan. His hatred was further strengthened by the favorite player’s coming, Michael Laudrup, to the Santiago Bernabeu in 1994.
However, he finally joined La Masia, FC Barcelona’s academy, because of his father’s encouragement. At that time, his father was close to several important figures of El Barca. For this reason, Iniesta’s talent was accepted at the La Masia academy.
When he joined the La Masia academy, Andres Iniesta was only 12 years old. Many other players were older than him. It’s not easy for little Iniesta, who was very shy and did not want to be far from his parents, to adapt to La Masia. He would cry if he was not near his parents for a long time.
As a figure who was also close to Iniesta, his father was sad and even shed tears. But he continued to convince Iniesta to survive so that his game’s skill could develop.
After being convinced and continuing to survive, Iniesta’s appearance with the Barcelona youth team was getting better. He even became the captain of FC Barcelona U-15 in the 1999 Nike Premier Cup tournament. Under the leadership of Andres Iniesta, his team won the championship.
Moreover, Iniesta also won the title of the best player in the tournament.
After being promoted to FC Barcelona’s main team, Iniesta debuted in 2004. He only missed one match in his first season and managed to become a new star of FC Barcelona.
In the 2006/07 season, Iniesta’s game developed. He even succeeded in donating the Juan Gamper Trophy in 2008. Following his extraordinary performance, Iniesta got a new contract from FC Barcelona.
With Spnayol national team in 2008, Iniesta performed brilliantly by donating the European Cup to this matador team. But he had to miss the Confederations Cup a year after due to injury.

He was also included in the brilliant Barca squad which was able to win six titles at once in one season. Among them were Spanish La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, European Champions League, European Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
At that time, Andres Iniesta was named as the most consistent player. The former Manchester United’s striker, Wayne Rooney, also admitted that Iniesta was the best player in the world. The statement came after he was defeated by FC Barcelona in the European Champions League final.
In the 2010/11 season, Iniesta got a second rank as the world’s best player.
Having other victories with the Spanish national team, he became the determinant of the Matador Country’s victory in the World Cup championship held in South Africa.
Two years later, Iniesta won the European Cup trophy with the Spanish national team. His happiness did not end there. In the same year, he also married the woman he adored named Anna Ortiz. Both have been in a relationship for approximately four years before finally getting married.
Iniesta felt very happy since getting Anna Ortiz’s heart was not an easy thing. He has done various ways to finally be able to win her heart.
In 2015, Iniesta continued his golden career as a great footballer. He helped FC Barcelona win the European Champions League trophy. Not only that, but he also won the La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies.
Because of those achievements, Iniesta became one of seven great names that managed to win two treble-winners with FC Barcelona.
