Kevin De Bruyne was born on June 28, 1991, in Drongen, Ghent, Belgium. He is the son of the couple Herwig De Bruyne and Anna De Bruyne. Although he was born in Belgium, Kevin spent his childhood in England until in Africa. That happened because his mother came from England and was born in Africa meanwhile, his father owned an oil company that spread in several countries.

When he was four years old, Kevin started his football game. At that time, he joined the club at his school located in Drongen. One of his biggest motivations for becoming a well-known footballer was that he was not pleasant enough.

At the age of 14 years, Kevin left home due to not getting too much support to become a professional footballer. He then joined the Genk football academy and began to have some basic skills to play the ball. A few years in the academy, Kevin had taken a lot of media attention thanks to his abilities.

Although born of a wealthy family, Kevin lived by only relying on money earned from playing football. Continuing to sharpen his soccer talent, Kevin’s game was getting better. He claimed to only visit his family on weekends.

At that time, Kevin thought that he just wanted to dedicate his life to playing football.

Until right in 2008, his hard work paid off. He made it into the first team and made his professional debut in May 2019. The 2010/11 season was a lucky season for Kevin. In 32 appearances in all competitions, Kevin successfully scored 5 goals and 16 assists for the team he defended.

In October 2011, Kevin scored his first hat trick in the match against Club Brugge. He ended the season by scoring 8 goals in 28 appearances. In 2012, one of the Premier League clubs, Chelsea, was interested in asking for his hand. Until right in July of the same year, he debuted with the Blues.

In August 2012, Kevin was loaned to Werder Bremen before finally anchoring in Wolfsburg. On this team, Kevin invited a lot of attention. He played nicely and his appearance grew rapidly. In 2014/15 season with Wolfsburg, Kevin ended it by scoring 10 goals and 21 assists.

In Germany, Kevin had a bad experience. At that time, he was cheated by his lover. The worse thing was that his lover cheated on his own teammate, Thibaut Courtois. After getting a conflict, the three found a middle ground until it ended peacefully.

In 2015, Kevin’s ability was in demand by Manchester City. Right at the end of August 2015, Kevin was officially in uniform for The Citizen. Together with City, he signed a contract for the next six years. At that time, he was carried off with a dowry worth 55 million euros.

Together with Manchester City, Kevin’s ability was getting so much better. He often scored goals to become an important part of every game that Manchester City went through.

Kevin often won the title of “Man of the match” and scored many goals for this club of Manchester. Because his ability was considered very useful, City was willing to extend the Belgian player’s contract in January 2018. Kevin is bound by City until the next 2023.

Together with The Citizen, Kevin de Bruyne has donated 1 Premier League title and 3 FA Cups.

Not only with City’s achievements, but Kevin also showed a beautiful game while defending the Belgian national team. Having debuted at the 2014 World Cup, Kevin then returned to the 2016 European Cup. Until finally when competing in the 2018 World Cup, he successfully brought Rode Duivels to third place.

Being a famous soccer player, Kevin De Bruyne expanded himself into the business world. Now, he already has a clothing business that has his own brand called KDB Clothing. Some of his business income was even donated to the Olympic committee of people with special needs.

The aim of his business is to support these people in order to have the right facilities to exercise.
