A French teenager who is currently becoming a talk in the football world is Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe was born from Wilfried Mbappe and Fayza Mbappe. His father is from Cameroon and his mother is an Algerian descent. Mbappe was born 6 months after France had successfully won the 1998 World Cup in their own country. As if born to be a football player, Mbappe has been very familiar with football since he was a child. His father admitted,
“My son, Kylian has an extraordinary passion for football. He plays football all day. And he can watch 4 to 5 football games in a row.”
While living in the suburbs of Paris which full of violence. Mbappe is always excited and has high enthusiasm to play football. Mbappe indeed believes that school, family, and friends are important. But for him, there is nothing more important than football. Every day, he always learns about the basic trick in football until he can finally develop his own skill.
Since he was a child, he had already made his friends jealous. Small awards and trophies he got with his old team had managed him to be seen as the future of French football. This becomes the starting point of his success to be the world champion.
His parents are always guiding the growth of their child. The father who works as a football coach and the mother who was also a former professional handball player seemed to handout a particular inheritance for their child to be a professional athlete. They are always proud of him. These are what make Mbappe is always positive.
Kylian Mbappe has two siblings who are Jirès Kembo Ekoko, ten years older than him adopted by his father, and his second sibling Ethan Mbappe who is seven years younger than him. In an interview, Mbappe explained his celebration style after scoring a goal is by crossing his hands and showing a thumbs up. He stated that this celebration was inspired from his younger brother Ethan who did the same thing when Ethan embarrassed him at play station.
Mbappe started his career in AS Bondy in which his father became a coach. After that, he pursued his football career to the Clairefontaine academy. He was graduated from there in 2011. The academy is one of the best academies in France. Thierry Henry, William Gallas, Balise Matuidi, and Nicholas Anelka are the big names who were graduated from Clairefontaine academy. Mbappe showed several impressive performances while he was in Clairefontaine academy.
The impressive performance made many French and Spain Clubs such as Real Madrid and Valencia tried to make him sign a contract. Mbappe also had a trial for England Club along with Chelsea to have a test when he was 11 years old, he even had a match for Chelsea youth team against Charlton.
For his extraordinary talent, he had ever been asked by Zinedine Zidane to join with Real Madrid, however, due to a particular reason, his father trusted Monaco more than Madrid for Mbappe to pursue his professional career. Sure enough, since debuting with that French team, Mbappe managed to become the youngest player who started his first match with Monaco. It is reported that Mbappe has been playing with Monaco since the age of 16 years and 347 days old. Beating out the record of Thierry Henry on which he started his debut with Monaco at the age of 17 years and 14 days old.
Henry has never predicted that a 5 years old kid who ever took a photo with him would beat his record in Monaco.
“I have ever met him when he was a child, he was a good and quiet boy. Many people talked about him for the passion he had. He could change many things through football.”
Beside Thierry Henry, Mbappe has also met other world players, Christiano Ronaldo. Mbappe claimed that his meeting with the idol in the Real Madrid Training Camp pretty much changes his life.
