Romelu Menama Lukaku, born on May 13, 1993, in Antwerp, Belgium. He was born to Roger Lukaku and Adolhine Lukaku. Lukaku is a black ethnic group in Belgium. Because he has a different skin color, he often gets discriminatory treatment from the white population of Belgium.

With the inhuman treatment, Lukaku survives and lives as usual with his family. His family members are football lovers. His father is a former professional football player who played for KV Oostende, KV Mechelen, and Germinal Ekeren.

While his younger brother, Jordan Lukaku, is a professional footballer who now plays for Serie A teams, Lazio.

When he was 5 years old, Lukaku joined a local club, Rupel Boom. Four years studying there, Lukaku became the best player among the others. After being discovered by a talent guide, Lukaku then moved to Lierse’s academy.

Playing for about two years on the team, Lukaku successfully scored 121 goals from 68 matches. His big body at that time became the advantage he had. However, there are also many people who were confused about whether Lukaku has an older age than other players.

Even when he underwent a match with another team, the parents of the opposing players often asked for their identification cards as proof that he was in the same age as their children.

Despite his hurt feeling, Lukaku continued to move and did not care about other devotional words.

After Lierse was relegated, Lukaku was withdrawn by a more famous club, Anderlecht.

Playing with the Anderlecht youth team, Lukaku became a very popular player. He successfully scored 131 times in 93 matches. Not wanting to let this super big player go, Anderlecht then tied Lukaku with a three-year contract.

In the 2009/10 season, Lukaku became an important part of the Anderlecht’s main team. He successfully donated the Belgian League title and scored 15 goals in a season.

On the following season, Lukaku was unable to defend the Belgian League title he had won. But he successfully contributed 25 goals and his game was growing better. Because of his slick performance, Lukaku was in demand by the London club, Chelsea.

In 2011, the Blues officially signed Lukaku for five years. Despite appearing with one of the best teams in the world, Lukaku was not satisfied with his appearance. He was then recruited by West Brom before finally settling on Everton.

Lukaku felt he found his best performance while at Everton. He even spearheaded the team based at Goodison Park.

On December 2015, Lukaku successfully scored in six matches in a row in the Premier League. This achievement made him the first Everton player to be able to achieve such an achievement. Being able to score in the next match, Lukaku became the first Everton player to score in seven consecutive matches.

Success with Everton, Lukaku became the target of several top European clubs. Until right in 2017, this 25-year-old striker officially signed a contract with Manchester United. Despite having to pass various steep roads, Lukaku is still a ferocious striker who often scores important goals for the red devil.

Not only did Lukaku perform brilliantly with the club he was defending, but also successfully brought the Belgian national team ranked third in the 2018 World Cup title.

Another fact from Romelu Lukaku is that he is able to master more than five languages. This 191 cm player speaks Dutch, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and a little German fluently.

Until now, Romelu Lukaku is still one of the most popular players in the world.
